Black Friday and Thanksgiving Day 2014 Stores Opening Hours: Walmart, BestBuy, Sears, Kmart, JC Penney, to open as early as Thanksgiving Day

Stores of the major retailers are opening as early as on the Thanksgiving Day to capture the shoppers who want to avoid the busy Black Friday in getting their items.

Several years ago, stores would open specifically on Black Friday with long lines and crowded stores as an outcome. Because of the demands of the shoppers to go out on Thanksgiving day to purchase, stores have started opening and rolling out deals.

Walmart, the biggest Black Friday retailers, have tried to avoid shoppers to flock as early as 1:00 AM on Black Friday on its stores to avoid any untoward incidents.

Reports have circulated that Walmart, BestBuy, Kmart and other large stores are starting Black Friday early by opening at 6:00 PM on Thanksgiving Day. To get out of any traffic jam and any long lines, these major stores have been accommodating shoppers on Thanksgiving Day. Surely, competitive and lower Black Friday Deals are available on Thanksgiving Day.

Here are the Black Friday opening hours for stores like Walmart, BestBuy, Target, Kmart and other retailers.

Thanksgiving And Black Friday 2014 Store Hours:

1. Walmart – 6:00 p.m. Thanksgiving Day

2. Best Buy – 6:00 p.m. Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014)

3. Bon-Ton – 6:00 p.m. Thanksgiving Day

4. Kmart – 6:00 a.m. Thanksgiving Day (open 42 hours until midnight on Black Friday on Nov. 28, 2014)

5. Kohl’s – 6:00 p.m. Thanksgiving Day

6. JC Penney – 5:00 p.m. Thanksgiving Day

7. Macy’s – 6:00 p.m. Thanksgiving Day

8. Sears – 6:00 p.m. (open until midnight on Black Friday)

9. Stage Stores – 4:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. (Thanksgiving Day), 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Black Friday)

Other retailers have not released their Black Friday Opening hours at this moment. Dell Home, Goody’s, Harbor Freight Tools, Lowes, Belk, Carsons, Costco,Peebles, Toys “R” Us, and Ulta’s Black Friday openings are not yet confirmed.
