2015 Rose Parade Live Stream: TV Schedule, Start Time, Info and Guide on Rose Bowl Game

The 126th Tournament of Roses Parade is about to be unveiled once again to the eyes of millions of spectators. It’s called the America’s New Year Celebration that greets the world on the first day of the year with community spirit.

The Tournament of Roses or Rose Parade features festival of flowers, music and sports that can only be seen in Pasadena, California. The Tournament of Roses Parade is on January 1, starting time is at 8:00 AM PST.

Tournament of Roses 2015 theme is entitled “Inspiring Stories”. The theme encourages everyone to celebrate with others to elevate the human spirit.

While millions of spectators are captivated by the marching bands and the equestrians, the floral floats are the main attractions. As a matter of fact, the Tournament of Roses chose Steven Wood Schamader, Eddie Zaratsian and Els Hazenberg as the float judges for the 126th Rose Parade, which is presented by Honda.

Olympian and World War II prisoner Louis Zamperini is going to be the Gran Marshal for the 2015 Tournament of Roses.

With thousands of hours spent just to create the float, some of the criteria are imagination, use of theme, beauty, humor, creativity, dramatic impact and entertainment value.

Going to the Tournament of Roses Parade has been a tradition to many. In traveling to Pasadena to witness the parade, it takes luck to capture the best spot. The Tournament of Roses Parade route would take two hours of parade with the floats, marching bands and equestrians. The Parade, which covers 5 1/2 miles, will start a the corner of Green Street and Orange Grove Boulevard in Pasadena. The Tournament of Roses Parade travels north on Orange Groove at a 2 1/2 mph and then turns east onto Colorado Boulevard. It ends at Villa Street.

To complete the day, the Rose Bowl game between the Oregon Ducks and the Florida State Seminoles will start at 5:00 PM. The two teams are part of the newly installed college football playoff in which the winner will play in the college football championship game.
