Black Nazarene procession live stream: Millions of devotees in the celebration

Manila Philippines – Millions of devotees have flocked the historical streets of the City of Manila to join the 2015 Black Nazarene procession on January 9, Friday, starting time at 7:00 AM at the Quirino Grandstand / Rizal Park and ends in Quiapo Church.

This is the biggest procession of the country with an estimated around 10 millions to participate in the route of the parade. Most of the devotees if not all are barefooted during the procession.

With months of preparation regarding the route and the security of the event, there is a change in the route of the procession. After the Jones Bridge, the procession will turn right to Dasmarinas St., instead of Escolta St. The city of Manila local government and organizers of the event had decided to transverse the route for security reason.

To those devotees who are not able to go to Manila, the Black Nazarene procession is live stream on quiapochurch.com. Some of the local cable news channel will broadcast the Black Nazarene translation on ANC and even on GMA News TV. At 12:00 Midnight, the Holy Eucharist mass will start.

How long the parade will last? In 2012, the procession took 22 hours from Quirino Grandstand to Quiapo Church.
