Seahawks to play Patriots in Super Bowl 49: Point Spread, Odds, Line, Date, Location

With 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter, the New England Patriots has a commanding 45-7 lead over the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC title game.

Tom Brady has already completed 23 of 34 passes for 226 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Patriots into another Super Bowl appearance, his sixth Super Bowl.

While Brady was sharp in the passing game, the rushing game through Lagarrette Blount was productive. Blount has rushed for 148 yards and three touchdowns.

On the other side of the coin, the Seahawks are back in the Super Bowl after beating the Packers, 28-22, in OT. It took everything from the Seahawks, including a miracle, to dislodge Green Bay which controlled most of the game.

Despite the five turnovers, four interceptions and a fumble, the Seahawks survived through Russell Wilson’s touchdown pass to Jermain Kearse in OT. With four minutes left being behind 19-7, the Seahawks pulled off a remarkable come-from-behind victory to be back in the Super Bowl.

Wilson threw for 209 yards and a touchdown in 14 of 29 passes. He also threw for four interceptions. Marshawn Lynch rushed for 157 yards and a touchdown in 25 tries.

The defense of the Seahawks will meet Brady’s offense in Arizona. Without a doubt, the Seahawks defense will be tested against New England’s offensive attacks that defeated Baltimore and Indianapolis.

After dispatching the Ravens last week in a tight 35-31 score, the Patriots will have to deal against the vaunted defense of the Seahawks.

Patriots vs Seahawks Super Bowl 49 Odds and Point Spread: -2.5 Seattle. Super Bowl 49 is on February 1, 2015.
