Pebble watch reaches $6 million worth of pre-orders

The new Pebble Time smartwatch has already accumulated 30,000 pre-orders, valued over $6 million. The smartwatch was launched on Kickstarter today and it reached beyond the expectations of many.

The Pebble Time watch costs about $200, which features a long battery life, color screen and simple timeline interface.

According to Kickstarter, Pebble is the fastest project ever to raise $1 million on Kickstarter.

The Pebble time is operated using three buttons on top. Each button moves the watch timeline, in which the user can organize events in different ways. The top buttons take the user back in time whil th ecenter button enables to move through present tasks. Also, the bottom button displays future events.

Kickstarter’s goal of $500,000 was reached in 17 minutes of pre-order Time. The estimated delivery of the pre-ordered Time watch is on May 2015.
