2015 College World Series TCU vs LSU Coverage: TV Schedule, Preview

The TCU Horned Frogs will take the LSU Tigers for the second time in five days on Thursday night in the College World Series at TD Ameritrade Omaha. The College World Series will kick off at 8:00 PM ET.

During their first game last Sunday, the Horned Frogs outplayed the Tigers 10-3. However, the Horned Frogs lost to Vanderbilt in the winners’ bracket, while the Tigers defeated CSU Fullerton in the losers bracket to stay alive. The winner of this game will play Vanderbilt, which is twice to beat, to advance to the final series.

Though the Tigers have the most dangerous line up at the plate, they pitchers failed to deliver their best in the game against the Horned Frogs last Sunday. LSU walked five batters and have four errors. With no errors defensively, the Tigers overpowered Fullerton, 5-3, on Tuesday.

TCU will look for a second straight victory over LSU when it sends Mitchell Traver (9-2, 1.60 ERA) to the mound to battle the LSU’s Zac Person (2-0, 3.34). Person has made 30 appearances this season, but only one was a start.
