2015 NBA Finals Live Game 4 : Cavs vs Warriors TV Schedule, Preview

Stephen Curry and the Golden Warriors look to find the answers before its too late as they face the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 4 of the NBA Finals at the Quicken Loans Arena on Thursday at 9:00 PM ET.

The Warriors seemed lost at this moment after giving up the last two games in a row and allowing the Cavaliers to control the tempo, in a low scoring. Golden State is the No. 1 offense in the NBA in the regular season but it looks like that offense is not showing up in the Finals so far. While Curry has improved in Game 3, finishing 27 points and making 17 points in the fourth quarter, still the Warriors fell short. Curry had improved in Game 3 in comparison to his 5-for-23 shooting in Game 2.

Draymond Green has been struggling in the Finals, averaging 9.7 points only. Also Harrison Barnes averages 7.3 points for the Warriors in the last three games. Both these players were being outplayed and they were not comfortable of what the Cavs are doing in defense. For the Warriors to have a chance to tie the series, both Green and Barnes must be able to come out big in Game 4. Warriors can rely on Klay Thompson, averaging 23 points, and Curry but Barnes and Green are important for the offensive attacks.

Moreover, coach Steve Kerr and his staff will have to create something different to contain LeBron James, who averages 41 points, 12 boards, and eight assists in 47 minutes a game. In connection with that, the Warriors defense is expected to be aggressive to handle James in Game 4.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have the opportunity to distance themselves in Game 4. A 3-1 advantage would be difficult to climb and that’s what the Cavs want to do against the Warriors. With vaunted defense applied on Curry and Thompson in Game 3, the Cavs expect to do the same to eliminate the threats.

Surely, James is needed to get another big numbers offensively to maintain the offensive attacks of the Cavaliers. Aside from James, the unlikely hero of the NBA Finals Matthew Dellavedova has to be part of the flow. Dellavedova had exploded in Game 3 with his 20 points. Dellavedova has shown his energy in diving for loose balls. Furthermore, his defense on Curry is making a significant upheaval as one of the reasons why the Cavs are winning the series.

Tristan Thompson and Timofey Mosgov are playing their best basketball also. Tristan is averaging 14 rebounds while Mosgov is averaging 12.3 point for the Cavaliers in the Finals. They control the boards and destroy the big men of the Warriors.

The NBA Finals is all about adjustments. What will be the new strategies of the Warriors to outplay the Cavs in Game 4? Will James be aggressive as ever, making another triple-double?
