Who will have a blazing start? NBA Finals Game 5 is here!

Game Five of the NBA Finals is set between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday at 8:00 PM ET. Coming from Quicken Loans Arena, the two teams will play at Oracle Arena in which the fans of the Warriors are expecting to make noise after their team just came from a remarkable Game 4 victory.

The Golden State Warriors would love to seize the oppotunity of winning the most pivotal game in the playoff. Riding in a 103-82 victory, the Warriors will again use the same strategy that broke the spirits of the Cavs. Golden State will have another crack in derailing the defense of the Cavaliers by going small in the line up.

Andre Iguodala replaced Andrew Bogut at the starting line up in Game 4. The result was a faster game that allowed the Warriors to disparage the defense of the Cavaliers. The Warriors also asserted their offense with the quicker line up. Iguodala prospered with 22 points and eight rebounds as the Warriors were plus 16 when he was on the floor.

Coach Steve Kerr might be pulling off surprises in Game 5 or he might change the starting line up again. A much speedier Golden State is the key to destroy the setup offense of the Cavs. Expect the Warriors to be running back and forth with accuracy as they play at home. Draymond Green and Harrison Barnes outside shootings are needed in Game 5.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will take another shot at the Warriors on the road. They played the Warriors the first two games that resulted both in OT. While the Cavaliers were obviously tired in the in Game 4, they have two days to recuperate and to renew their strengths.

Afte LeBron James averaged 41 points in the first three Games of the NBA Finals, he was exhausted in Game 4, finishing only 20 points. James understands the importance of this game. He was in the same situation before in Miami. However, the setup of the Finals is different this time, with the 2-2-1-1-1 format. This means that the Cavaliers need to win this game on the road, and hope to close the series at home in Game 6.

One of the most important aspects of the Cavaliers game would be the necessary help from the other players. Matthew Dellavedova played great in Game 3 but he finished with only 10 points in Game 4. The bright spot for the Cavs in Game 4 loss was the scoring ability of Timofey Mosgov, who delivered a whopping 28 points. Mosgov and Tristan Thompson played strong in Game 4 but the spread offense and quickness of the Warriors left them tired by chasing those three-point shots.

Surely, the Cavaliers will have a lot of adjustments for Game 5. Probably, they will start with isolations for LeBron James as early as the first quarter. James will try to impose his will in the game just like the way he got big numbers in Game 1-3.
