AP Poll Top 25 Week 2: Ohio State remains No. 1, Alabama at No. 2, Oregon falls to No 12

The AP Poll Top 25 has been released and as expected, there are many changes in the rankings. Ohio State football remains on top but gets only 59 of 60 first place votes from 60 last week.

The Oregon Ducks fell from No. 7 to No. 12 after losing to the Michigan State Spartans, who are now No. 4, from No. 5. Meanwhile, three SEC teams dropped out of the AP Poll this week after 10 teams enters the previous week. While most of the contenders for the college football playoffs are still alive, Michigan State bolstered its credentials by beating then-No. 7 Oregon.

TCU and Baylor will always be part of the AP Poll and both teams are just lurking behind. TCU at No. 3 and Baylor at No. 5. These two teams have to stay undefeated to have a shot at the playoffs this season.
