Watch Gorilla Harambe Shot Dead after handling 4-year-old boy fall into enclosure [viral video]

One of the terrifying videos that is being discussed and debated upon in the past hours is finally getting the buzz today. Virally, the video has reached millions of views in YouTube.

A four-year old boy falls into enclosure at Cincinnati zoo, packed with visitors this holiday weekend, when they saw with their bare eyes open the Gorilla dragging the boy.

Michell Gregg, mom of the boy, has to defend himself from the social media bashers, who are allegedly saying that she was not paying close enough attention to her son, and that she was responsible for the death of Harambe, the 17-year-old, male Western Lowland gorilla.

Michelle Gregg defended herself in a now-deleted Facebook post, writing: “God protected my child until the authorities were able to get to him. My son is safe and was able to walk away with a concussion and a few scrapes… no broken bones or internal injuries.”

Meanwhile, Cincinnati zoo released a statement through park Director Thane Menard saying,

“We are heartbroken about losing Harambe, but a child’s life was in danger and a quick decision had to be made by our Dangerous Animal Response Team.”

Many have suggested that the zoo should have used tranquilizers but Maynard defended the zoo’s action by saying:

“tranquilizers do not take effect for several minutes and the child was in imminent danger. On top of that, the impact from the dart could agitate the animal and cause the situation to get much worse.”
