World Series Game 5, Scores and Updates , TV Channel: Cubs seize the lead

The Cubs posted two runs in the fourth inning to seize the lead, 2-1.

The Cleveland Indians play the Chicago Cubs in Game 5 of the World Series on Sunday, start time at 8:15 PM ET at Wrigley Field, Chicago, Illinois, live streaming on Fox Sports Go or, tv channel is on Fox.

The Cleveland Indians are a game away of winning their first World Series since 1948 as they overpowered the Cubs 7-2 on Saturday at Wrigley Field.

The Cubs are sending Jon Lester (19-5, 2.44 ERA) against the Indians. Lester will start for his 19th postseason career, and the Cubs are banking on his experience to pull this through. Currently, Lester has 1.69 ERA in four starts and 26 2/3 innings this postseason. While Lester struggled in Game One, yielding three runs and nine best runners in 5 2/3 innings, he can still catapult his game.

Trevor Bauer will be the starter for the Indians as he will face the hungry Cubs line up. Bauer allowed two runs on six hits and two walks in Game 2 as he struggled to contain the Cubs in 87 pitches in only 3 2/3 inning.

This would be the first time for Bauer to start with a long rest, and his freshness could mean a lot for the Indians.

“You prepare for the game the same way,” Bauer said Saturday. “Some games you go out there and you have a feel right away, and some games you go out there and you don’t. So, for whatever time I’m in the game, I do the same thing. I try to go with what’s working and find a feel for what’s not. Sometimes you do, sometimes you don’t.”
